Breathtaking El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel: All-Inclusive Heaven

So a few things about my experience. They were about 40 minutes late picking us up from the meeting spot, not a big deal. There was a family that had a 3 year old with them, not a big deal. We get out to the reef to start the snorkeling and they let the 3 year old hang out in the life ring, not a big deal unless one of the other 10 people have a cramp or something while in the water. We saw starfish, stingrays, and one sea turtle before we left. Water, juice, and beer was made available to us. The sandbar was great. The guacamole and pico was amazing. The tequila was good too. Right before we returned to the marina, they stopped the boat and informed us that a tip was not included in the booking and kinda made you feel like if they didn't get a tip, that you were going to be left out. Upon the return to the marina, there was no ride back to the pier. Make sure you take money for a tip, a taxi, and for the bathroom if you dare use their facilities. Would go back.

We booked this tour for our family of 5. We were contacted the day before asking if we could reschedule. Unfortunately, we could not. We kept the original date and time. We were picked up and transported to boat location, everything went great. We were met by Carla, she was not rude but certainly not friendly. Only said a few words to us. We left on the boat. We were supposed to visit the Columbia reef, Palancer reef, starfish and swim with the Stingrays. We never went to any reefs to see all the beautiful fish, the main reason to take a snorkeling tour. We were taken to a place with very few fish and not any very colorful, the star fish but again there wasn't very many of those either and swim with the Stingrays, this was actually pretty awesome, without this stop I wouldn't of even given 2 stars. When we asked why we weren't taken to the reefs, the response was, he was told as a group we decided we didn't want to go. That was a complete lie, who goes on a snorkeling tour but doesn't want to Snorkel in an area with the most fish? We did say something and were told we could make a stop on the way back in. I was excited to be able to Snorkel at the best reef in Cozumel, as stated in their ad, the reason we booked this tour with them. Well, we got back on the boat to Snorkel at the reef or so I thought. The boat didn't start??? We were told they had to bring another boat to get us. After about 10 - 15 mins, in my opinion just a little stall time, the boat started??? We were then told we had to go back in and would not be stopping by the reef. That whole thing didn't seem, to me or any of the others, legit! The cost of this tour is $57 per person. The experience we received was not even a portion of what we paid. I would definitely not recommend this tour.

A very good excursion. The tour guide and assistants were excellent. Thoroughly recommend. The lunch on the water was a first for me.

Booked this as a shore excursion for my Margaritaville Cruise. Didn’t understand where to meet at. Turned out they wanted me to be standing at the Mayan Replica in the Mayan Plaza. I should have called and texted the number right at the meetup time rather than wait. Once I did that we got it sorted out and loved the excursion. It was a blast and Carla was very kind and understanding. If you just want to use a taxi, then you can reach out directly to the company instead.

Incredible! Pickup was a little confusing initially, but so long as you follow the instructions on the email, trust the process and they will find you and make sure you get where you need to go. They won’t let you put sunscreen on once you’re on the boat, so make sure you have applied plenty before you leave the dock. The snorkeling is superb with plenty of wildlife. They then take you to a sandbar where you indulge in Mexican beer and fresh, made-to-order guacamole. The fresh-sliced, local pineapple was also delicious. The views are spectacular and the water is perfect. There will be other boats and parties happening along the sandbar, so the vibes are great all around. They offer an optional photo package which they don’t try and pressure you into buying like some other tour companies, but the photos were of such excellent quality that we ended up happily paying the $40 or so they charged. A great experience with superb value. We will be back!

When booking the tour we asked whether or not it was disabled access friendly as someone has mobility issues. The agent on the chat insisted that it was and kept insisting we book, when we got to the experience though the boat was not disability access as we had been told and staff had to assist with manually lifting a participant. If staff are going to say the experience is disability friendly then it needs to be. Also all the links the people in the chat I spoke to never worked for payment so had to book separately. They also were not patient with me when I was asking questions and ended every reply with “do you want to book?” - as a consumer sometimes there are questions we need answered before we can make an informed decision on whether I and my family want to book or not.

Had bad weather so unable to do tour. Had planned tour early in year and was not sure what weather would be like. Would have loved to gone snorkeling but mother nature had other plans.

Awesome experience with Carla and all his crew, Gio, Alejandra and the Captain. Everybody did an exceptional job for us have a great time. My best wishes for you all and until we see again 😉

What an amazing day! We were in a cruise and found this excursion. Highly recommend! Karla provided good directions and communication to find the pick up location. Kathy and crew were great. Stops were beautiful ! Would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this excursion. We went with 7 of us. Saw a ton of fish, sea turtle, stingray

We had a great time the water was perfect the staff was very accommodating. As a matter of fact I accidentally scheduled for the wrong date and I was able to text the company and they responded very quickly and they were very accommodating they just said yeah no problem and told me where to meet them and me and my family went and had a great time honestly I think it exceeded my expectations because it was such a reasonable price.
